🐶 Lolly is a 1.5-year-old small girl — sociable, playful, cuddly, and full of gentle affection. She arrived in the UK in early November under foster-to-adopt, but after just four days her potential adopters felt she wasn’t the right match. She became overprotective around their young child during her initial decompression period, growling and even snapping when overwhelmed. The family made the responsible decision not to risk it, and Lolly was moved safely into a new foster home.
She has now settled beautifully and is showing her true nature: sweet, loving, fun, and very connected to her humans — just better suited for a home without small children. That's what current family say about her : " Lolly is exceptionally gentle and calm, who adores being around humans, especially for a cuddle. She loves nothing more than chilling out on her bed or sofa chewing away at an antler. I think she would be excellent with an older family, with adult calm dogs, who can take her for leisurely walks where she will be more than happy to relax for the rest of the day."

Like her siblings, Lolly was abandoned by a rural lake — left with nothing but her little sisters for comfort. Rescued just in time, she grew up in a home-based foster in Ukraine with a large garden and kind people who helped her learn trust and joy. Now in the UK, she’s once again searching for a family who will understand her, guide her, and give her the stability she deserves.

Lolly is a bright, affectionate, and sociable girl who thrives on human interaction. She loves cuddles, adores company, and her cheerful nature makes her a delight to have around. She is gentle and loving, but can be unsure of very young children — she prefers calm, predictable environments and older kids who understand how to behave around dogs.
She walks beautifully on a long line, has promising recall, and tries her best to be clean indoors. She is friendly with other dogs and truly blossoms in the company of a calm, kind canine companion. With people she trusts, she is pure sweetness — soft, affectionate, and eager to bond.

Lolly will be happiest in a calm and understanding home, ideally with a friendly resident dog who can offer her confidence and companionship.
