Description
This is Wilma. She is a 1st generation Springador. She is six years old- seven in April. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flead up to date, along with recently having a full dental clean. Wilma is such a sweet girl- she is shy with people she doesn’t know so will need a home that will allow her to settle in her own time with no pressure, once she has built the bond with her new family she will love them unconditionally. Because of this someone who has taken on a nervous dog before or has had experience in nurturing and an understanding of letting her find her way in her own time would be ideal- she will reward that patience with an amazing bond. She loves her food so reward training I’m sure will soon be in her round as well as her love for a tennis ball. She has no experience of children so I would be lookingfor a quiet home with just adults that have a knowledge and understanding of dogs. She has a sweet, loving nature alongside the bush, happy qualities of the Springer and therefore someone with experience with Springers or similar breed types would be preferred. With other dogs she is quite a dominant girl and although won’t go looking for trouble would need to be the only dog in her new home. She can not live with cats, poultry etc as she does have a high prey drive. Wilma loves her walks and typically of her breed has plenty of energy. She has good recall so offlead walks are possible once the bond has been made. She is very good on the lead. No full or part time workers need enquire as a home with someone around most of the time is essential. I am finding Wilma a new home so that she can live her life in a quiet, relaxed environment. I have decided to retire from breeding and have been a 5* licensed breeder for two decades, therefore I have the last couple of my dogs looking for their retirement homes, as they would benefit from a one to one quieter home. She is fully house trained and crate trained so will happily sleep in a suitable sized crate which she may prefer whilst adjusting to her new home if necessary.
