Description
Bruce is a 5-year-old male German Shepherd / Vizsla looking for an experienced forever home.
Due to recent changes in circumstances in-regards to housing changing, Bruce is sadly looking for a new home where he can have lots of exercise, structure, loving experienced owner familiar with the breed!
Bruce is a smart, energetic and a very loyal boy, who loves attention and lots of affection (who also loves a good cuddle and thinks he’s a small dog). He is active, alert but also loves a good cuddle and sleep, and enjoys being with people and going out on walks, especially the beach. He responds well and has a lot of trust in his owner, and would benefit from an owner who can provide leadership, consistency and continued training. He knows a lot of commands, but would benefit from re-call training.
He’s amazing around adults and children, but would benefit from an older children household, because he doesn’t know his size and can be a bit clumsy around younger kids.
Bruce would suit someone experienced with German Shepherds / viszlas who understands working breeds and can provide structure, exercise and a calm home environment. He has lived with cats before, and will be fine if a kitten is introduced later down the line, but does chase cats if they run from him. So ideally he’d prefer to be the only pet in the house hold.
This is an extremely difficult decision and we want to find the right experienced and loving home for our Bruce.
