Grace – lovingly called Gracie – was rescued from a public shelter and given the chance to start again. She is elegant, sensitive and deeply bonded to her chosen person.
Grace was adopted recently and has shown herself to be affectionate and devoted within her home. However, she has struggled in a household where one family member has mobility challenges.
Grace can become uncertain and reactive around unpredictable movement and behaviour. In this particular environment, she can become overwhelmed or unsure.
This does not make her a ‘bad’ dog — but it does mean she needs a very specific, suitable home where she can feel secure and understood.

🌸 Personality & Temperament
Grace bonds strongly to her main caregiver and shows beautiful loyalty and affection. She enjoys calm companionship and thrives when she understands the structure around her.
She is good with other balanced dogs and has lived happily alongside another dog. She enjoys activity, outdoor time and exploring.
She can be nervous with unfamiliar people and may become overprotective if she feels unsure. Clear leadership and calm, confident handling are essential.

Grace requires a calm, structured home with experienced, confident adults.
• No children under 14
• No elderly or vulnerable adults
• Secure, dog-proof garden essential
• Preferably someone with experience of sensitive or protective breeds
She needs predictable routines and people who understand that nervous dogs require patience, boundaries and reassurance — not chaos.

• You must have your own secure garden
• No children under 10 for any of our rescue dogs
• We do NOT supply work, assistance or service dogs
• The dog will reside strictly as a beloved PET in your home
Should you adopt Grace, you agree to remain in contact with us. We offer lifetime rescue backup — if ever circumstances change, she comes back to us.
We are a 100% genuine Rescue. We reserve the right to ask an adoption donation appropriate to each case. In most situations, costs are not fully covered.

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
