Baki is a 3-year-old Great Dane looking for a new home because I am relocating overseas and, due to his size and the cost of moving him, I sadly can’t realistically bring him with me. My main priority is making sure he goes to someone who will genuinely care for him, keep him happy and healthy, and treat him like family. Baki has grown up with my other dog, Map, a 3-year-old Labrador. Ideally, I would really like them to stay together and be rehomed by the same person or family. There will be a rehoming fee. This is not about making money from him. I bought Baki from a breeder as a puppy for £1,950, but I am not trying to get that money back. I simply don’t feel comfortable giving him away for free to someone I don’t know. I want to make sure whoever takes him is serious, responsible, and understands the cost and commitment of caring for a Great Dane. A small deposit will be required once I am happy with the new home and after you have met Baki. The remaining amount can be paid when he is collected. I do hope that one day, if my circumstances improve, I may have the chance to have Baki back. I understand this may not be possible and that whoever takes him may become his permanent owner. If the new owner was ever open to discussing me taking him back in the future, I would be willing to pay fairly for that. If Baki and Map cannot be rehomed together, I may have to consider rehoming them separately. Baki is microchipped. His vaccinations are currently not up to date. I would prefer to speak by phone with anyone seriously interested so we can talk properly and make sure the home is suitable for him.
