Description
Felix is a 7.5-year-old Pointer originally from Cyprus. He has lived in a family home for the past five years and is now seeking a new home due to changes in family circumstances.
Personality
Felix is affectionate, loyal and deeply bonded to his people. He loves:
• Cuddling on the sofa
• Sunbathing
• Long countryside walks
• Pack walks with other dogs
• Tug of war
• Food-based training
He is very food motivated and responds extremely well to positive reinforcement.
In the home he is generally relaxed and enjoys resting on the sofa or in his crate. He can be left alone without separation anxiety.
Exercise & Routine
• One large daily pack walk (over an hour)
• Additional short lead walks
• Travels well in car and on trains
• Enjoys enrichment such as shredding cardboard
Training
Felix completed a 7-week residential training course which significantly improved his lead walking and obedience. His recall is good when managed with high-value rewards.
He is muzzle trained and currently wears one on walks as a precaution and to prevent scavenging.
Behaviour Notes
Felix can display:
• Resource guarding of high-value items if accessible
• Reactivity to noise outside the home (knocking, deliveries)
• Sensitivity to fireworks and sudden fast movement

He recovers well when given space and will settle in his crate.
