Description
Polly is an 8 year old Dalmatian who I’m reluctantly trying to rehome.
She’s a massive sweetheart who just wants love and affection at all times. She can be a bit wary around some dogs and some children but she’s fine with older kids and friendly dogs. She absolutely loves cats.
Polly hates being left alone, so I’m looking for someone who maybe works from home or is retired so they can give her all the time and attention she needs. She’s not hugely energetic, just needy.
She sometimes goes to a boarders where she gets on well with the other dogs there and enjoys socialising with them. She’s great on walks, doesn’t pull on the lead and has good recall off lead. She doesn’t run very far though she just loves sniffing around.
I’ve had Polly for a year and she wasn’t treated very well in her previous home, she was kept in a crate with multiple other dogs and only let out for a wee. She was also covered in fleas. Due to this, I wouldn’t want her to go to someone who is planning on using a crate, unless it’s huge or maybe a pen but she does have a bit of trauma from her old life. I also don’t want her to be passed from home to home, so please only get in touch if you are serious and you have the time to give her what she needs to be happy in her forever home.
