WILSON - is DNA tested as a German shepherd x German short haired pointer (x lots of other bits and bobs) He’s approximately 6/7yrs old and castrated. He was found malnourished and uncared for on a farm in Cyprus where he was rescued by a charity. He arrived in the UK in September 2022 where he came into foster with us. Initially, there was some food guarding but as he regained weight and became familiar with consistent feeds and routine this completely resolved. He was adopted July 2023 and has spent 3 happy years in a family home living along side another dog. unfortunately due to a change in circumstances for the adopters they were no longer able to offer him a home and he has come back to foster with us. He currently lives happily with our 2 male dogs (one is entire) and our toddler with absolutely no concern. He is such a happy, loving lad. Typical of larger dogs, completely oblivious to his size and loves nothing more than a full on cuddle or to lay on your lap. He loves his walks, walks nicely off lead though can have selective recall when seeing other dogs something I think could be easily worked on as he is so responsive to food, especially cheese! He is completely house trained and well behaved indoors. He’s very chilled out and happy to laze around in between walks. He loves a squishy ball or toy. He really is such a gorgeous, affectionate lad and deserves his forever family home more than anything.
