Description
Ozzy is my handsome champagne white long haired straight back GSD. He has not been neutered and he is still growing.
He is 8 months old, he is microchipped and fully vaccinated to include Kennel cough. Ozzy is still young and so he is quick to learn need things and routines.
He is fed wagg puppy biscuits 3x daily. Sometimes with puppy meat. He is unfortunately a bit under weight. I got him this way, he wasnt feed the correct food and he was also bullied out of the way by another more dominant male GSD. So he is now being feed little and often here, to build him back up.
I have not had Ozzy long at all but I genuinely feel he would be better suited to a home where someone is about most of the day. He can be a bit wary but he is a big softy at heart and will follow you everywhere when he trusts you. Typical GSD! He loves being close and gives cuddles. He is a very affectionate dog.
He is fine with children of all ages. He loves them and he is very gentle. He doesnt jump up. He is okay with cats. He gives mine plenty of space. He seems to prefer women over men I have learned. It takes him time to get used to men. He will bark at men who enter my home but he is fine when out walking. He is not an aggressive dog. He just needs some reassurance.
He walks well on the lead. Doesnt pull too much. I walk him on a collar with flexi lead. I have not had him off lead here, as there isnt anywhere secure to walk him. Ozzy gets on okay with other dogs. Just wants to be friends and play with them. I walk him up to the school to collect my boys and he is fine. He loves saying hello to people who pass by and compliment him and obviously loves the fuss from the children too!
Ozzy is clean in the house. He will hold himself over night. He loves sleeping on the bed or on the floor next to it. He doesnt chew furniture. If I have to go out he goes in a XL crate with a bone. He barks at first but then settles down (I have a pet cam to watch him). The crate I have is on loan, so cant go with him.
He will come with all his food, toys and any chews/treats he has at the time. He has a kong collar & 2x leads. A slip lead and a 5m flexi lead.
This is a difficult decision but I feel Ozzy needs more 1-2-1 attention. I run a busy stud here with a lot of people coming and going and I also have to go to work. So a 5 star home a must for Ozzy who on the whole is a fantastic dog. He deserves his forever family. Please only get in touch if you can offer him that without messing me around!
