🌸 Kitty – 12.2hh, 14-year-old Mare 🌸
Kitty is a stocky, well-built 12.2hh, 14-year-old mare looking for her next little person.
She has experience both on and off the lead rein, although she is much more experienced and confident on the lead rein. She is slightly green off the lead rein, so would benefit from a confident child with supportive adults to continue her education.
In no way is Kitty a perfect schoolmaster, and we want to be completely honest about that. However, she is a safe and reliable pony who is good as gold and has a lovely temperament. She is great with children and takes things in her stride — kids can jump around her and ride her bareback, and she remains her sensible self.
She is perfect for the farrier, good with machinery and general yard life, and is a very straightforward pony to handle.
Kitty does have a fallen crest, which is the result of previous owners allowing her to become overweight. She also has mild sweet itch, although this doesn't seem to cause her any problems and is manageable.
A lovely, stocky, sensible pony who could make a fantastic children's pony for the right family. She would particularly suit someone looking for a safe, reliable lead-rein pony with the potential to continue progressing off the lead rein.
