This is without doubt one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make. Our beautiful Dogue de Bordeaux girl is an incredibly loving, loyal, and people-focused dog, and writing this post breaks our hearts. She has so much to offer.
She is fully house trained, crate trained, and has reliable general obedience. She walks happily on a loose lead, enjoys working alongside her handler, and has a fantastic food drive and work rate, making her a joy to train and live with. She thrives on routine, engagement, and being close to her people.
She is comfortable around other dogs when out and about, however living with our other dog has proven to be challenging for her. Despite time and effort, it has become clear that she would be happiest and most settled as the only dog in the home.
This decision has been made purely with her wellbeing at heart.
In the right home, she will be an exceptional companion, affectionate, devoted, and deeply bonded to her people. She would suit someone familiar with large breeds or someone ready to offer structure, consistency, and lots of love.
We are not in a rush and are committed to finding the right home, not just any home. She means the world to us, and we want nothing more than to see her happy and secure.
