Description

We are looking for a new home or rescue for our 4 year old daschund cross. She looks very much a 100 percent dachshund but has long legs. Now for reason for rehoming We are being very honest in our reason for rehoming as really looking for a rescue that could place her in a perfect home. Our dog is very reactive. She has lived with an other dog and manages very well but cannot stand any visitor to the house. She has never attempted to harm anyone but will continue to bark until they leave she is also very wary of other dogs but we are not sure if it’s anxiety as she seems to bark to want attention off other dogs and will follow them if they go past her and not react. She cannot stand the door bell either. She has been socialised since she was a puppy and we have no issues with our other dog. We have tried numerous things but she stays as reactive as ever. She is fully vet checked and spayed and to people she knows she is the most loving dog ever but I’m being completely honest as I would love someone to probably offer her a better home than I think what we can provide her and hopefully work on the reactiveness. We are at a loss of what to do now.
