Description
Klara is a gorgeous, sweet-natured little girl who is looking for a patient and loving home of her own.
She was one of 27 dogs rescued from a hoarding situation last October and had experienced very little of normal life. Understandably, she was initially frightened of people and unfamiliar situations, but she has come such a long way and is now really beginning to show what a happy little girl she can be.
Klara is still apprehensive about some new things, but she is learning very quickly that the world can be a safe place. She takes treats from your hand, can be picked up when needed and loves following her fosterer around the house. We think she could make a wonderful little companion for someone who is around for much of the day and would enjoy having her by their side.
She also absolutely loves the male spaniel in her foster home. A friendly, confident dog could be a lovely companion for Klara and help her confidence continue to grow, although we would consider the right home without a resident dog if she would have plenty of human company.
Klara hasn’t learnt about going for walks yet, so her new family will need to start at the beginning with her, initially helping her feel confident in a secure garden before gradually introducing a harness, lead and the wider world. She doesn’t need to be rushed.
We would consider a calm home with older, sensible children.
Klara has already overcome an enormous amount. What she needs now is someone kind and patient who will give her the time to continue blossoming.
She really is a beautiful little soul, and we think she has all the makings of a very special companion. ❤️
