🐾 Gorgeous 16-Week-Old Yorkiepoo Boy Looking for His Forever Home 🐾 Our beautiful little Yorkiepoo boy is now 16 weeks old and ready to find his very own loving forever family. ❤️ Unfortunately, this little man had a difficult start to life after developing puppy strangles at just 6 weeks old. Puppy strangles, also known as juvenile cellulitis, is a rare immune-mediated condition that mainly affects young puppies. It can cause inflammation and swelling, particularly around the face, ears and lymph nodes. Although it can look worrying, many puppies respond very well to treatment and go on to live happy, healthy lives. Our little boy received veterinary treatment, including a course of steroids to control the inflammation. His treatment is now complete, and he has finished his course of medication. He is ready to begin his next chapter with a loving family. As a result of his condition and treatment, he currently has a small bald spot on his back, which is barely noticeable beneath his coat. This is something I want to be open and honest about with prospective owners, alongside his veterinary history. Puppy strangles is not contagious. Recurrence is not expected in most successfully treated puppies, although it cannot be completely ruled out. I am hoping to recoup these costs through his sale and am looking for a fair price that reflects this significant expense. His welfare is my priority, and finding him the right forever home is extremely important to me.
