Description

Meet Kenneth, Michael and Geraldine— our beautiful Black, Caramel and Sable Cocker Spaniels. These three aren't ordinary puppies. They have already overcome more in their young lives than most puppies ever will, and their story has made them incredibly special to us. From the very beginning, Kenneth, Michael and Geri were little fighters. At just two days old they had dropped below their birth weights, so we syringe-fed them every 2–3 hours, day and night. Despite our best efforts, milk was sometimes coming through their noses, and there were many sleepless nights and anxious moments. They fought through those early challenges, successfully moved onto solid food and were thriving — until they developed a respiratory infection. At 10 weeks old, during their microchipping examination, our vet discovered that all three had cleft palates. It was devastating news after everything we had already been through with them. But our vet refused to give up on them. He told us he was going to try to repair their palates, despite never having performed this particular surgery before. And these three little fighters have amazed us. ❤️ Michael was first and spent over two hours in surgery. His one-week check showed that his repair was healing extremely well. ❤️ Kenneth followed two weeks later and has bounced back beautifully. ❤️ Geri, our little girl, was the final and hardest one to hand over. But once again, she showed just how much of a fighter she is. They are now recovering beautifully and are happy, loving, playful puppies who have been given an incredible amount of care, attention and socialisation throughout their lives. 🏡 WE ARE LOOKING FOR VERY SPECIAL HOMES These puppies are not being offered to just anyone. We want homes that understand their history and appreciate that they have had surgery and may require further veterinary monitoring as they continue to grow. We will continue to take financial responsibility for any further veterinary treatment specifically related to their cleft palate or palate surgery, should it be required. We will also remain available to their new families for advice, support and updates throughout their lives. They have been raised with enormous amounts of love and care, and we want that same level of commitment for their future. They are beautifully socialised and have experienced lots of normal family life, giving them the opportunity to grow into confident, well-rounded companions. And we have one very special request... ❤️ We would love their new families to keep their names — Kenneth, Michael and Geri. These names have been part of their story from the beginning and mean a great deal to us. They have already fought so hard. Now they deserve nothing less than wonderful forever homes where they will be loved, cherished and treated as part of the family. If you feel you could offer one of these very special puppies the home they deserve, please get in touch and tell us a little about yourself, your family and the life you would be offering them. The Three Amigos — three little fighters, three survivors and three very special Cocker Spaniels. ❤️🐾
