Beauxcoon Maine Coons is a small, home-based cattery in North Kent. Our breeding cats are carefully chosen with health and temperament at the forefront of our breeding programme, alongside the wonderful type and character associated with the Maine Coon breed.
Our cats live as part of our family, and our kittens are born and raised within our home rather than in a separate cattery environment.
Their mum, Splash, is a beautiful, affectionate and loving girl with a gentle nature. She has been a wonderfully calm and attentive mum to her babies.
Their dad, Woody a black smoke is quite simply one of the most affectionate cats you could meet. He adores people, loves attention and cuddles, and has an exceptionally gentle temperament.
Both Splash and Woody live here with us and can be seen when visiting the kittens.
Our kittens are handled regularly from birth and grow up experiencing normal family life. They are accustomed to children, other cats and dogs, as well as the everyday sights and sounds of a busy household. Our aim is to raise confident, affectionate and well-socialised kittens who are well prepared for life with their new families.
Both parents are TICA registered and DNA tested clear for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) and PKDef (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency).
Health testing, temperament and careful selection of our breeding cats are extremely important to us.
Each Beauxcoon kitten will leave us with:
* Two veterinary health checks
* First and second vaccinations
* Microchip transferred into their new owner’s details
* Age-appropriate worming
* Five weeks Agria insurance
* Their own Wisdom Panel DNA results
* Pedigree information
* Beauxcoon kitten sales contract
* Beauxcoon kitten care guide
* Kitten pack
* Ongoing breeder support
* TICA registration released following proof of neutering
All kittens are sold on a non-active basis unless otherwise agreed with us in advance.
Our kittens will remain with us until a minimum of 13 weeks of age and will only leave once we are completely satisfied that they are healthy, confident and ready to join their new families.
We are looking for loving, permanent and carefully considered homes. Our kittens are not allocated purely on a first-come, first-served basis; finding the right home for each individual kitten is extremely important to us.
Visits are welcome by arrangement.
When making an enquiry, please tell us a little about yourself, your household, any children or existing pets, and the type of home you can offer.
