Description
Sweet little Meg was found in the garden of an empty house in Crete.
She was about 4 weeks old and was very fortunate that someone spotted her and a lovely volunteer fostered her until she could travel to the UK.
She lived with other dogs and cats in Crete and is now currently enjoying the company of my 2 dogs.
She is nearly 6 months old now and although she’s of slight build, around 18kg, she is very robust and loves to play with my dogs who are considerably larger than her.
She travels well in our van and loves her walks. She is already off lead, although we keep a line on her, and has a good recall. She doesn’t pull on a lead but tends to zig zag so needs a bit of work on lead. She is getting used to traffic.
She enjoys her food and doesn’t appear to have any guarding tendencies.
She’s very playful and does like to play tug and chew soft toys as most puppies do.
She currently sleeps upstairs with us and our other dogs. She loves to be with her people and follows me everywhere indoors.
She has been left alone with my dogs for up to an hour and watching her on camera seems content to sleep or play with a toy.
She has met other dogs and is polite and playful with them. She has also met young children and been very gentle around them. She is a foodie though so needs to be watched if they are eating.
She loves the company of other dogs so I think she would prefer to live with another playful dog or dogs. However she is a confident little girl so could potentially be an only dog provided she is well socialised and her family is around most of the time. I don’t think she would like to be on her own for long periods.
She is an absolute sweetheart and would be a great companion.
Meg is in foster TW16
