🏡 ROCCO’S STORY
Rocco and four of his siblings were rescued from circumstances very similar to those of Julia, Betty and Kara.
There were six puppies in the litter altogether. Their narrow-minded owner decided to keep one puppy and their mother, while Rocco and the other four siblings came into our care.
Sadly, their mother has not been spayed and could soon be forced to produce yet another unwanted litter. We are trying very hard to persuade her owners to allow us to arrange and pay for her spaying before this happens again.
Thankfully, Rocco is now safe and ready to begin the next, much happier chapter of his life.
🌟 ABOUT ROCCO
Rocco is a very friendly, energetic and confident young puppy.
He loves attention, enjoys interacting with people and has a wonderfully enthusiastic personality. He is curious about everything and wants to be involved in whatever is happening around him.
Rocco looks quite different from his brothers and sisters. His shorter coat, longer legs and more athletic features suggest that he may possibly have a different father, although there is no way of knowing this without a DNA test.
He can be rather boisterous when playing with his siblings. This does not appear to come from an unfriendly nature — he is simply an energetic, confident puppy who has not yet learned when his play becomes too much for the others.
His future family will need to continue teaching him good manners, appropriate play and how to settle calmly.

Rocco needs an active, loving family who will enjoy his lively personality while also providing kind and consistent boundaries.
He would benefit from:
🐾 Regular walks, play and mental stimulation
🐾 Patient and consistent puppy training
🐾 Continued positive socialisation
🐾 Guidance around calm and appropriate play
🐾 A safe and securely enclosed garden
🐾 Plenty of affection and human companionship
Rocco could potentially live with another friendly, confident dog, subject to careful introductions. Any resident dog should be comfortable with the energy and exuberance of a playful young puppy.
He may be too overwhelming for a very small, elderly, nervous or fragile dog unless his adopter is experienced and able to manage their interactions carefully.
Rocco is still young and has everything to learn. With exercise, positive training and sensible boundaries, we believe he will grow into a fantastic and deeply affectionate companion. 🥰
🩺 HEALTH AND VETTING
Rocco has been vaccinated and will receive the appropriate blood testing before he is rehomed.
He has not yet been neutered because he is still a young puppy. His future family must agree to have him neutered at the appropriate age, following veterinary and rescue guidance.
💛 OUR PROMISE TO ROCCO
Rocco is available as a loved companion only. He will not be rehomed for breeding, guarding or working purposes.
He comes with Friends InDeed Dog Rescue’s lifetime rescue back-up. We remain available to support his adopting family throughout his life.
If circumstances should ever change, Rocco must be returned to us. He must never be privately sold, advertised or passed on to somebody else.
