We are absolutely delighted to announce that our beautiful Golden Retriever Ottie is expecting puppies, due any day now! 🥰🐶
These puppies will be very special to us because they aren't simply being bred and raised — they will be raised with knowledge, experience, understanding and a huge amount of love.
🐶 Meet Mum — Ottie
3 years old | KC registered Golden Retriever
Ottie is a much-loved member of our family and has a fantastic temperament. She is also actively involved in my behavioural work, helping me during sessions with dogs who need support with confidence, communication and behaviour.
She is whistle trained and has the kind of temperament and versatility that we value enormously in a family dog.
🐶 Meet Dad — Chester
3 years old | Golden Retriever | Not KC registered
Chester is our lovely boy and, just like Ottie, he is part of our everyday family life and helps me during behavioural sessions.
He is also whistle trained and has a wonderful, affectionate and stable temperament.
Chester is not KC registered, and we want to be completely transparent about that.
We know there can be a perception that a KC registered dog automatically means a healthier dog. Registration itself is not a guarantee of health or temperament. We believe prospective owners should look at the whole picture — the individual parents, their health, temperament, veterinary history, relevant health screening and, importantly, how puppies are raised.
We would much rather be completely honest and allow families to make an informed decision.

Our puppies will grow up in our home, surrounded by dogs, cats and everyday family life.

Because I am a professional dog behaviourist and trainer, I will also be putting a huge amount of thought into the puppies' early development.
🎓 Early recall & whistle foundations
One of the things that makes this litter particularly exciting to us is that the puppies will receive early positive whistle-conditioning and recall foundations.
This doesn't mean promising a tiny puppy will leave us with a perfect recall — no responsible breeder or trainer can guarantee that.
Instead, they will have been introduced positively to the whistle, rewarded for responding and given the foundations their new families can continue building.
Our aim is to give each puppy the best possible start for a lifetime of learning.
🧡 Temperament matters
For us, temperament is hugely important.
Ottie and Chester aren't just lovely dogs at home — they are dogs I trust to be around and work alongside other dogs during behavioural sessions.
They live successfully alongside six rescue dogs and two cats, and their ability to cope with different dogs, people, environments and situations is something we are incredibly proud of.
We want their puppies to grow into confident, happy, well-rounded companions who are prepared for life — not simply puppies that look beautiful in photographs.
🏡 Finding the right homes
We won't be treating these puppies as a first-come, first-served sale.
We want to get to know prospective families and find the right home for each individual puppy.
Golden Retrievers are wonderful dogs, but they are intelligent, active and require commitment, training and companionship. We want our puppies to go to families who understand what owning one involves and are committed to them for life.
