Description
🐾 Loki – 9-month-old boy looking for a new home 🐾
Loki is a 9-month-old boy looking for a patient, understanding home where he can have the time, guidance and training he needs to thrive.
He is a playful young dog who can also be nervous, timid and anxious in certain situations. Loki has been through rescue before, so he will need someone who understands that he may need extra time, patience and reassurance to build his confidence and feel safe.
Unfortunately, Loki has tried to attack my other dog, meaning I can no longer safely keep them together. Because of this, he will need a carefully chosen home, ideally with no other dogs unless a qualified behaviour professional has assessed him and advised otherwise. His compatibility with children is currently unknown, however from interactions that I have seen I would suggest he is to be a solitary animal with no children within the home.
Loki is not neutered and needs further training, particularly with walking on a lead. He can pull and bite the lead, and he does not yet walk reliably on or off lead. He will need a committed owner who is willing to work with him using patience, consistency and positive reinforcement.
This decision has not been made lightly. Loki deserves a chance to settle into a suitable home where his needs can be understood and where he can be given the support he needs to develop into a happier, more confident dog.
Please only enquire if you have the time, patience and experience to support a young dog with additional behavioural needs. His safety, wellbeing and finding the right home are the most important things. ❤️
