Description
Very sad sale of my beautiful boy- absolutely no fault of his own. But realistically pregnancy and maternity pay forces the sale.
Oakley has been out of work since end of November due to myself being pregnant and no one to ride him. So is sold from the field/as a project. However, despite being a tb he’s never silly or strong so I don’t think it will be a problem bringing him back into work. He’s always been perfect to get back on after a few weeks off.
He’s loves his jumping and Xc, good to hack alone and in company but can get Looky on his own so needs a confident rider to encourage him. He has never bolted, bucked or reared with me. I know his 2 previous owners off the track and they can also only say good things about him!
Perfect to load, clip, shoe, catch, tack up. I can’t say a bad word about this horse. Hes a saint, definitely one in a million. Definitely not your typical tb - he’s more like a big dog.
Can be turned out in a herd but I have found that he is always bullied and definitely prefers individual turnout or paired. He Likes his stable in winter and to be brought in before dark or he can become joggy back to the stable. This is the only flaw he has! As long as he’s in his routine he is completely fine. In the summer he has been turned out 24/7 and also stabled. He’s happy with either!
Teeth were done in September.
Just had a half set of shoes on 9th Feb.
