Description
We are selling our flock as we are planning an extended trip abroad, so have 47 laying hens for sale, ready to go as soon as possible. If we could keep them we would, and will be restocking as soon as we return from our trip.
34 of them came to us as point of lay in November 2025, so would have been hatched in August 2025. They are laying fantastically well, as we are getting 33-34 eggs a day, Good size eggs with very nice yellow yolks.
The other 13 are 6 months older. They are also laying at full capacity, averaging 12-13 eggs a day. So, between the 47 we get 44-47 eggs a day, fantastic!
We have mobile chicken tractors, so they get fresh grass every day to supplement their diet. No health issues whatsoever, and they've been wormed every 3 months with Flubenvet.
