Peachy – Tame & Very Affectionate Lovebird 🩷 Peachy is a beautiful lovebird who is around 1 year old. Been hand-reared since birth. Unsure of the sex but have a feeling she’s a female. She is a very tame, affectionate and people-oriented little bird who loves attention and being around people. She is especially cuddly and enjoys sitting with you, interacting with you and being involved in whatever you’re doing. She has a big personality and is very active, playful and vocal. She can be quite chatty and loud at times but also has her calm moments, so she would suit someone who enjoys a lively little companion and understands the needs of a lovebird. Peachy is used to being handled and is very friendly with people and super clingy! She has also stayed with a friend for several weeks while I was away and settled really well with them, becoming very affectionate with them too. I am unfortunately looking to rehome Peachy because I have realised that, with my current circumstances and other commitments, I am struggling to give her the amount of time, attention and freedom that she deserves. I love her very much and this is not a decision I have made lightly. I want to find her a home where someone has the time and energy to give her the attention, interaction and care she needs. She would need a loving, responsible home with someone who understands lovebirds and can give her plenty of daily interaction and appropriate out-of-cage time in a safe environment. A mate would be a good thing for her too! She must be kept completely separate from cats and other animals that could pose a risk to her. I will be asking questions about her new home because finding the right home for Peachy is much more important to me than a quick sale. I would ideally like her to go to someone experienced with birds or someone who has thoroughly researched lovebird care and is genuinely committed to keeping her for the rest of her life. Peachy recognises her name and will often respond when she is called. She has always been called Peachy, but her new owner would be more than welcome to change her name if they wanted to. Peachy is a very special little bird and I will be sad to see her go, so I want to make sure she goes to someone who will absolutely adore her. 🩷 Any other questions or photos needs please feel free to ask.
