Description

Nova is a beautiful, sweet-natured girl, just six months old, currently in foster care in the UK with Stronger Together Animal Rescue (STAR). Her young life has already involved too much uncertainty. Given to a family as a puppy, she was later left outside when the children lost interest. When the family advertised her to be given away, STAR stepped in to bring her to safety. Nova loves human company and has so much affection to give. She enjoys being close to her carer, is eager to please and has a lovely playful side. In foster care, she is house trained, walks on a lead and sleeps quietly through the night near her person. As with any puppy, she will need continued gentle training and patience while she settles into a new home. Her current foster household includes dogs coming and going for grooming and dog sitting. This changing environment is proving too busy for Nova, so we are prioritising finding her a calm, permanent home where she can build confidence and feel secure. Her ideal home would offer: • A calm household with a consistent daily routine. • Someone home for much of the day, who can help her gradually become comfortable spending time alone. • Plenty of affection, patient guidance and a lifelong commitment. • A home as an only dog, or with one or two calm, confident, gentle dogs, subject to a suitable match. • Any children in the household should be teenagers. • No cats. Nova is still a young puppy with her whole life ahead of her. She needs a family who will give her time to settle and enjoy watching her grow into a happy, confident companion. Full rescue back-up is provided by Stronger Together Animal Rescue.
