Meet SISSY, a truly special little girl whose story begins in the most heart-breaking way — but whose future we hope will be filled with love, warmth and kindness. 💛
Sissy and her two tiny siblings were thrown away in a bag and dumped in a field in the middle of nowhere by some heartless individuals. For two long days they lay there, cold, starving and helpless. A farmer noticed them but sadly only tossed them a little bread.
Thankfully, someone alerted local social media and one of our fellow rescuers rushed to collect them.
When they were found, the puppies were barely alive from hunger and cold.
Sissy and Tommy weighed only around 1 kg each
Their little sister Zina weighed only 400 grams — barely the size of a walnut
Sadly, Tommy didn’t survive, but Sissy and Zina proved to be little fighters. With care, warmth and proper feeding, they slowly recovered and blossomed into the beautiful puppies they are today.
Now Sissy is ready to find the loving home she has always deserved.

Sissy is a tiny bundle of fluff with enormous ears and the sweetest little face. She has the kind of expressive eyes that seem to look straight into your soul.
🧬 Possible Breed Mix
Although Sissy is a mixed breed (as many of our rescued dogs are), her appearance suggests she may have Spitz / Pomeranian–type ancestry, possibly combined with a small shepherd-type mix.

Despite the terrible start she had in life, Sissy is full of trust and affection.

🐾 Well behaved for such a young puppy

She absolutely adores attention and affection, and she quickly bonds with people who show her kindness.
Like all puppies, she will need guidance, patience and training, but she is already showing herself to be a clever little girl who wants to please.

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
