We are delighted to announce an exceptional upcoming litter at Newmiller Retrievers.
Dottie is expecting her litter between 18th and 20th April, with puppies ready to join their carefully selected homes in mid-June at eight weeks of age.
This highly anticipated litter has been thoughtfully planned, pairing Dottie with the outstanding stud Falcuk—imported from Moldova following an extensive and successful showing career. He holds multiple accolades, including Junior Champion, Senior Champion, and Best in Breed, and carries an extraordinary pedigree featuring over 48 champions, representing some of the most distinguished European bloodlines.
Falcuk is an exceptionally pale cream dog with a beautifully sculpted head and a notably gentle, affectionate temperament. He is a substantial, well-coated male with a calm, intelligent, and highly trainable nature. He is fully health tested well in excess of Kennel Club recommendations, including hips, elbows, eyes, heart, and comprehensive DNA screening, all clear. He is currently in training as a support dog, a testament to his outstanding temperament. He consistently produces puppies of excellent type, with steady temperaments and striking pale coats, suited equally to devoted family homes and potential support roles.
Dottie embodies everything we value in the breed. Ultra pale cream with a luminous coat, she has a beautifully balanced outline, a classic feminine head, and elegant, effortless movement. Her temperament is exceptional—gentle, intuitive, and deeply affectionate. She is one of our kindest girls, incredibly steady and laid-back in nature. Her health testing is extensive, with hips, elbows, and full DNA screening all clear.
At Newmiller, our focus extends far beyond pedigree. Our puppies are raised entirely within our home, at the heart of daily family life. From birth, they are immersed in a calm, structured, and nurturing environment, surrounded by children, everyday household activity, and constant human interaction. They are handled from their earliest days, gently introduced to a variety of sounds and experiences, and thoughtfully guided through each stage of early development.
This approach is fundamental to us. It produces puppies that are not only beautiful, but confident, emotionally stable, and naturally adaptable—qualities that cannot be replicated. By the time our puppies leave us, they are well socialised, accustomed to grooming and handling, and have a solid foundation in routine and early toilet training.
We are highly selective in the homes we choose. Our puppies are placed exclusively in exceptional, committed families where they will be fully integrated as part of the home. All puppies are endorsed with the Kennel Club for breeding and export, safeguarding their welfare and preserving the integrity of our lines.
Due to the calibre of this pairing and the standard to which our puppies are raised, demand is expected to be significant. Our waiting list is now open, and early enquiries are encouraged.

I’ve just brought home a gorgeous girl who Steven and Dee had as a dam and pet. She has the sweetest temperament and is so wonderful with my kids! Any puppies bred from her must be lovely.
