Description
We are super pleased to share our lovely litter of Working Cocker × Wire-haired Dachshund (Teckel) puppies looking for fun filled, loving homes. These puppies have been carefully reared on a Country Estate in rural Suffolk in a very experienced country home, alongside a gamekeeper who owns and runs a well-regarded residential gundog training business, so they have had the very best start in life.
Mum, Nutmeg, is our accomplished working Golden Cocker Spaniel and a much-loved family pet. She has a wonderful, biddable nature and is as happy out working as she is curled up at home. Dad, Twiglet, is our loyal, super-snuggly Wire-haired Dachshund who comes absolutely everywhere with us — a real right-hand man on the yard, brilliant around the horses, and adored by everyone who meets him. Both parents can be met with the puppies at home with us, and are fully health tested & both KC Registered from working & champion lines.
These puppies really do offer the best attributes of both breeds. The laid-back, affectionate nature of the Dachshund helps to take the edge off the bouncy, happy-go-lucky character of the Working Cocker, creating pups that are fun, loving and level-headed. They are shaping up to be fantastic all-round companion dogs, perfectly suited to fitting into an active lifestyle and becoming someone’s very best friend.
The puppies are being raised in a busy, caring environment and are used to everyday life on the estate. They have seen other dogs, chickens, peacocks and horses, and are well handled and socialised with both adults and children. They are confident, affectionate little characters who love attention and are growing into lovely, well-rounded pups.
They will make wonderful family companions, affectionate, fun and full of personality, and equally have the breeding and early exposure to thrive in active or working homes where they can use their noses, brains and enthusiasm.
Puppies will leave us:
• With first Lepto 4 vaccination
• Health checked by Linkswood Vets
• Wormed and flea treated every two weeks
• Puppy Pack to help their transition into their new home

Jilly was wonderful from the start. She responded quickly to my initial enquiry and was on hand to answer any questions we had. We were so grateful to be able to visit our puppy later one evening and Jilly shared so much information with us that we left feeling extremely happy with our choice of breeder and excited to bring our new family member home a few days later. Upon collection, our puppy came home with a bundle of goodies that enabled us to give her the best start at settling in. Both Jilly and Liam gave us brilliant advice before leaving and were very kind to continue to offer advice and support if needed in the future.
