🐾 CHARLIE – LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME 🐾 This is Charlie, an 8-year-old Maltese who is looking for a very special forever home. ❤️ Sadly, due to a decline in my Nan’s health, she is no longer able to care for Charlie as she once did. Charlie has been her devoted companion for the past 8 years, ever since my Grandad passed away, and he has been by her side through everything. Charlie has been staying with me for the past 4 months while we have been trying to find the right solution for him. However, I will soon be bringing home a large puppy Labrador, and unfortunately Charlie hasn’t settled as well as we had hoped. I feel that finding him a home where he can have the attention and companionship he deserves is the kindest thing for him. ❤️ 🐶 A little about Charlie: • 8-year-old Maltese • Absolutely fantastic with children • Gets along well with other dogs • Loves companionship and being around people • Only needs short walks of around 15 minutes • Would ideally suit someone who is home most of the time and is looking for a loving companion Charlie does have some separation anxiety, which is completely understandable after spending the last 8 years constantly by my Nan’s side. I have been working with him on this, and when he is first left, he can become distressed for around 15 minutes, but he does settle afterwards. We really feel that Charlie deserves a home where he can feel safe, loved and settled for the rest of his life. He has been such an important part of my Nan’s life, and finding the right person for him means everything to us. ❤️ His ideal home would preferably be with someone who is around most of the time, perhaps an older lady looking for a loyal little companion who will enjoy having Charlie by their side. We are not looking for just anyone — we want to make sure Charlie goes to the right home. There would need to be a meet and greet, and we would be happy to arrange a trial period to make sure Charlie and his new family are the right fit for each other. Please only get in touch if you are genuinely serious about giving Charlie a loving, permanent home. 🐾❤️ We just want him to have the same love, security and happiness that he has had for the last 8 years.
