At HeartNest Cattery, we place health, responsible breeding, early development and careful preparation for family life at the centre of our breeding programme.

Both Monica and Romeo are GCCF and TICA registered on Active status.
Romeo comes from an exceptional pedigree containing 16 titled cats, including:

🧬 EXTENSIVE HEALTH & GENETIC TESTING
We believe responsible breeding means going considerably further than completing only the minimum few breed-specific DNA tests.
🐾 Both parents have undergone comprehensive multi-disease DNA health testing
🐾 Romeo has completed 50+ genetic tests — all clear
🐾 Romeo is HCM & PKD clear
🐾 Monica has had a cardiac scan with a normal result
🐾 Both Monica and Romeo are FeLV & FIV negative
Our breeding decisions consider genetic health, pedigree compatibility, temperament and quality — not appearance alone.
🌱 EARLY DEVELOPMENT & SOCIALISATION
Our kittens receive structured, age-appropriate preparation from their earliest stages.
During the appropriate neonatal period we use ENS — Early Neurological Stimulation, followed by a gradually developing programme including:

🐾 Paw, ear and mouth handling
🐾 Grooming and nail-care preparation
🐾 Introduction to normal household sounds
🐾 Safe surfaces, textures and age-appropriate enrichment
🐾 Confidence-building experiences and play

🐾 Preparation for everyday household routines
We do not claim that a young kitten’s personality is already fixed. Our aim is to provide a strong early foundation, with their future family continuing that development after they leave us.

Our Ragdoll kittens remain with their mother and littermates until approximately 13 weeks of age.
Before leaving us, every kitten will receive:
🐾 Two vaccinations, including FeLV vaccination
🐾 Microchip
🐾 Veterinary health examinations
🐾 Veterinary Health Certificate
🐾 Full vaccination and veterinary records
🐾 TICA registration — Non-Active / pet status
🐾 Signed purchase contract
🐾 Complimentary starter pet insurance

🏡 FAMILY PETS & BREEDING ENQUIRIES
Our kittens are offered primarily as much-loved family companions and are registered with TICA on Non-Active status.
If you are considering breeding at any point — even if you are thinking of having only one litter — this must be discussed with us before reservation.
Breeding rights are not included in the advertised pet terms.
Active registration may be considered individually and is subject to the suitability of the kitten, pedigree compatibility, the prospective breeding programme, different contractual conditions and a different price.
🎥 VIDEO APPOINTMENTS & BIOSECURITY
HeartNest operates as a closed cattery with strict biosecurity procedures.
For the protection of our kittens, nursing mothers and breeding cats, we do not offer indoor cattery viewings.
Our prospective-owner appointments are carried out by live video call.
This gives families the opportunity to:

We understand that this policy will not suit everybody, and we kindly ask prospective owners to respect that biosecurity comes first within our cattery.
🤍 ALLERGIES
Ragdolls are not hypoallergenic.
We do not offer indoor allergy-testing visits. If somebody in your household has a known or suspected cat allergy, please consider this carefully before making a reservation.
Where appropriate, we can provide a fur sample from Monica for home allergy testing.
💳 RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS
A £350 non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your chosen kitten.
The £350 deposit is deducted from the final purchase price, with only the remaining balance payable afterwards.
Pets4Homes Pet Payments may be used if preferred. Please be aware that Pets4Homes may apply its own Buyer Protection fee, which is separate from our kitten price and is shown by the platform before payment.
🚗 DELIVERY
UK delivery may be available by prior arrangement at an additional cost.
Please discuss delivery requirements with us in advance.

We care deeply about where our kittens spend the rest of their lives.
Before reservation, we like to learn a little about prospective families, including your household, other pets, previous experience with cats and what you are hoping for in your future companion.
Our aim is not simply to find the first available home, but to find a suitable long-term home for each individual kitten.
