Description

❤️🐶 MEYA & KALLIE – Affectionate, Sensitive Girls (Possibly Corgi Cross) Who Need Their Person 🐶❤️ 🏠 LOOKING FOR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME (TOGETHER) 🏠 📍 Currently in Folkestone, CT19 🌟 RBU, post-adoption support, and 4 weeks free insurance provided upon adoption. A flexible 4-month adoption fee payment plan is available when adopted together. 🌟 🐾 Meet Meya and Kallie — two SMALL SIZE, foxy sisters of around 8.5 months old who have settled into UK foster care and shown just how special they truly are. They are affectionate, playful, gentle-natured girls who thrive on human connection and feel safest when close to their person. Their foster is clear about one important thing: each other alone is not enough. These girls need a present, emotionally available human to feel secure, at least the first few months in a new home until fully settle. When they have that, they relax beautifully. ✨ Highlights • SIZE: Small (approx. 35–37 cm / around 9 kg) • SPAYED: Yes • CHARACTER: Affectionate • Playful • Sensitive • Social • Human-oriented • DOGS: Excellent with other dogs • CATS: Not suitable (will chase) • CHILDREN: Best with calm, gentle, dog-savvy children • ACTIVITY: Active but not high-energy; content with one good daily walk • HOUSE LIFE: Calm, relaxed indoors, non-destructive 💔 Rescue Story / Background Meya and Kallie were found abandoned as tiny puppies, tied in a plastic bag and left by a gate. Thanks to kind intervention, they were rescued, raised with care in Ukraine, and grew into trusting, affectionate young dogs. They arrived in the UK full of promise. While they have adapted extremely well in foster care, it has become clear that busy, noisy environments — especially sudden loud sounds — overwhelm them. Their needs are not complicated, but they are specific: calm handling, emotional steadiness, and time. 🐾 More About Meya & Kallie (from their current foster) “They are doing very well — honestly, not hard work at all. They are relaxed and calm in the house.” “Meya has come much more for snuggles, strokes etc. They follow me wherever I go.” The girls have mixed confidently with a large group of dogs in the park — around 15 dogs of all sizes and breeds — with no issues at all. They are social, appropriate, and enjoy canine company. “We took them into a group of about 15 dogs… no problems at all mixing them.” Kallie, affectionately nicknamed “Kallie the scally”, is the cheekier, more expressive sister. She seeks people out, flops dramatically for belly rubs, and is quick to respond to her name. “Kallie is the full package — fun, cuddly, quirky, silly, playful, sweet, submissive, loving and entertaining.” Meya is slightly calmer and more grounded, often stepping forward first when meeting new dogs and quietly protective of her sister if Kallie becomes unsure. “Meya balances her beautifully — calmer, placider, and will take the lead in meeting a new dog.” They are active but not demanding — one long walk of around 1.5 hours in the morning has been enough, even without a second walk later in the day. Indoors, they lounge, rest, and play gently with each other and resident dogs. They have been left briefly (45 minutes to an hour) and were calm, quiet, and settled. Their biggest fear is sudden loud noise, particularly building work or banging sounds. “They don’t bark when frightened — they scuttle, trying to find somewhere to hide.” With calm handling, distance from the noise, and guidance, they recover and settle again. 🏡 Ideal Home Meya and Kallie need a human-centred home — someone who is around a lot and enjoys sharing life closely with their dogs. They are not dogs who want to be left frequently or expected to self-soothe just with each other. A calm, predictable environment — rural or semi-rural — will suit them best. Busy town centres, heavy traffic, and constant noise will overwhelm them. A secure garden and access to quiet walking routes will help them thrive. They need a person who leads with confidence and calm, because their behaviour mirrors their human’s emotional state. When their person is relaxed and steady, they are too. 💞 These girls are absolute gems. “Great dogs — one can really enjoy them.” They are affectionate, responsive, joyful companions who will reward the right human with loyalty, warmth, and deep connection. They don’t need fixing — they need belonging. 🩺 Health Information Meya and Kallie are fully healthy. Spayed. Have all core vaccines done and are microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (owners receive a licensed laboratory test certificate). 💌 If you can offer foster-to-adopt home, please fill out a form: 🔗 Foster-to-Adopt/Adoption Form : https://forms.gle/vHdDRdjFzXngqzUC9
