Description

Re-advertised due to change of circumstances in previous interested party I rehomed Kobe in January of last year, he’s a happy, loving boy who’s full of curiosity. Unfortunately the dog I already had has begun to attack him unprovoked, they initially got on very well but over the last few months this has deteriorated to the point I have to keep them separated. This is no fault of Kobe’s but due to the increased risk to them both it has become a situation that is unsafe. I have worked with behaviourists to try ans rectify the situation but this has failed and I’m left with rehoming as my only option. Kobe had a somewhat rough start in life which I will explain in further detail to serious, realistic offers and deserves nothing more than a loving home and attention. Due to not being properly socialised or trained he is very difficult to walk for me, initially he was very slender and I was able to control him when needed but as he’s gained weight and gotten more healthy he’s become a very strong boy and I can no longer walk him safely, I’ve had big dogs most of my life including cane corso’s and Neapolitan mastiffs so I’m not new to big and strong breeds but aside from that he’s not being able to live his life to the fullest as I’m simply not strong enough to walk him, this might sound stupid as why would I take on a dog I can’t walk but ultimately it was to get him out of a really poor situation. He’s almost two years old, knows basic commands and loves to cuddle in and be made a fuss over. If there was any other option to keep him i would because he’s a truly lovely dog but I have to put both dogs welfares first. Kobe would not be suitable for anyone with small children due to his size he could very easily knock them over without meaning to in excitement or anyone inexperienced as he does require a lot of training.
