Description

Male Indian Ringneck Parrot – Experienced Home Wanted I am looking for a loving, experienced and knowledgeable home for Kiwi, my male Indian Ringneck. I’ve had Kiwi for around 6 months. He is a lovely bird but is quite nervous and does not currently step up onto a hand. He can be wary when approached, so he needs someone patient who understands parrots and is prepared to build trust at his own pace. I’ve made the difficult decision to rehome Kiwi because, with everything I currently have going on, I don’t have enough time to give him the interaction and attention he deserves. I also feel that I don’t have enough experience with birds myself to give him the best possible care and help him develop his confidence. Kiwi enjoys talking and will chatter away to himself. I want to find him a home where someone with proper bird experience can spend time with him, build his trust and give him the stimulation and companionship he needs. I am looking for: * Someone with previous parrot/Indian Ringneck experience * A patient home willing to work on his confidence and trust * Someone who understands that he may need time to settle and bond * A safe, stimulating environment with plenty of appropriate interaction * Ideally someone who has kept parrots before and understands their needs His cage can be included with him. He’s around 2-3 years old Genuine enquiries from experienced bird owners only, please.
