Description
Mimosa is a Sabueso hound. She is an incredibly affectionate, loving and sweet dog. She is gentle and friendly with people and confident with everyone she meets, including strangers. As a Sabueso, she has beautiful big floppy ears and an exceptionally good sense of smell, which she uses to explore and understand the world around her.
You would never guess from Mimosa’s wonderful nature that she spent two years abandoned in a pound. She was found wandering the streets still wearing a harness, showing she once had an owner. She remained in the pound for two years, waiting for her family or a new one to take her home. Sadly, that day never came, until one of the shelters we work closely with rescued her.
Mimosa loves tummy rubs and will happily roll onto her back for fuss, making little contented noises as she enjoys the attention. She’s funny, charming and adores being close to people. She is great with children and could happily live in a family home. Mimosa is also sociable with other dogs and could live either with other dogs or as the only dog, where she would be just as happy soaking up all the love and cuddles she can get.
