Seb is one of those dogs who feels like a full presence in your life. He is clever, cheeky and full of opinions, but also deeply affectionate once the day slows down. At home he is relaxed and kind, happiest when he can keep you in sight and curl up nearby. He is a classic velcro dog who thrives on company and routine, and he forms strong bonds with his people very quickly.
Living with Seb means sharing your space with a dog who wants to be involved. He loves attention but is not overwhelming when relaxing. He will happily nap beside you, chew a bone or snooze on the sofa, and if you ask “wanna snuggle?” he is very likely to tuck himself neatly under your arm. He also has a slightly ridiculous love of being carried, holding himself upright with his paws over your shoulders like an oversized toddler.
Seb is bright and already knows a wide range of cues, though his training has been a little relaxed so he may test boundaries at first. He responds well to clear guidance and is very trainable, especially for someone who enjoys working with an intelligent, energetic dog. He is crate trained and house trained, understands household rules well and settles nicely indoors.
Playtime is where Seb’s energy really shows. He is extremely high energy and walks alone will not tire him out. He loves tug games, chasing balls even if the return part is still a work in progress, and independent play with squeaky toys or Kongs. Interactive play is his favourite and helps him feel fulfilled. On walks he can be reactive to other dogs, barking and pulling when he spots them, and struggles to refocus once distracted. Face to face he has always been friendly, often licking immediately, but he needs to be managed carefully. He walks well on lead when it is just you and him and uses a halter leader for safety. Off lead time is not recommended unless in a secure, dog-free space.

Seb gives his whole heart to his people. He is affectionate, funny and deeply loyal, the kind of dog who makes a house feel full and alive. He will suit someone who wants an involved companion, who enjoys both high-energy play and quiet evenings with a warm, snoring presence nearby. For the right person, Seb will be an endlessly loving, entertaining friend and a very good boy to come home to.
