We have Rough Collie puppies from an exceptional pedigree available. This litter was fully booked and then some within 2 days of their birth, but we held back two puppies as I wasn't sure who I would keep! Some puppies are now available to a great home.
They are genetically clear of CEA, DM, MDR1, and PRA. Reared and raised with gold standard socialisation protocols here in our living room. You can see the puppies with both mum and grandma and see their excellent temperaments for yourself - you will fall in love! Dad is imported from Hungary and both his parents and most of his grandparents are Champions. His sire was bred by my mentor at Wicani Collies, world renowned for health and the classic Collie appearance, being the first breeders to introduce CEA free Rough Collies to Britain. Mum was bred by us from our lovely blue girl from Wicani, daughter of Champion Wicani Simon Templar who now lives in Europe and granddaughter of the first UK champion with an American sire. On both sides of the puppies' pedigrees are a mix of top quality British collies blended with imports and stud dogs from across the world, including famous kennels in Brazil and the US. Rearing is something we're very passionate about. The first twelve weeks of life are the most important - once the window is closed, the puppy has developed its fundamental relationship with the world. After raising Collies and seeing their unique needs, strengths and weaknesses, we've prepared a list of 'beliefs' we want our puppies to take to heart and grow up with, including learning that novel things and environments are safe to explore. We manage and fine-tune our puppies environment and complete protocols and exercises during the Critical Socialisation Period to instill them with these lessons. You'll find our puppies playing in ballpits, exploring tunnels, or learning their way around tasty bones as well as 'meatier' protocols like handler focus exercises (reduce overstimulation in the outdoors) and startle response exercises (improve confidence). The industry recognised Puppy Culture programmes make up the backbone of our socialisation plan and we blend 5 of their courses together to get puppies ready to learn in their new homes.
I have industry recognised and regulated certifications in dog breeding by some of the most highly regarded individuals in the dog show and breeding scene (where I graduated with a Distinction) and am proud to have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by the ADLC for my academic achievements. Of course puppies will be wormed and will come with their health test certificates, pedigrees, and KC registration plus support for the lifetime of the puppy.
Puppies are started with housebreaking and crate training, with their siblings having very easy transitions to their new homes, and come with guidance to ease the transition to their new homes. Please reach out if you have any questions about our babies or would like to chat about them.
