I have here a good quality silkie rooster, young but despite this, he’s doing all the right things: calling to his ladies for food, fertilising my silkie hens well and being alert all the time. He’s a lovely boy, but I’ve now had all the chicks I’ve wanted from him and I wish for him to go to a good home. I’ll hold onto him as long as needed for that. He’s a silkie, so he will still need predator protection, but they are good alert roosters, docile and although he's a little scared of people, he’s shown no signs of aggression at all, not even the slightest - I can pick him up no problem and he’s friendly/good with kids, I predict him to come out of his shell once’s he’s a year old, with more confidence towards humans.
