Description
Good looking lad ‘Nemo’ was just a baby when he was abandoned by a callous person. Look how he has gained confidence in the video. He is petite at 9months & so gentle & joyful. His sister is called ‘Bon Bon’.
The siblings were discarded as though they were rubbish destined for a rubbish tip as babies. They huddled together for safety and comfort in the frightful confusion. They then went to a pound because no one wanted to look at them or be bothered to help them. They have next to no memory of the first weeks of their existences and have grown up in the shelter dependant upon humans. They are fated to be made homeless again (a common policy in some places/countries) which would be sheer terror for these two vulnerable infants.
You can see how they’ve ‘blossomed’ in just a couple of months in the brief video I took when I was last there. I’ll do more pictures and videos soon. The region they were unfortunate enough to be born in is mentioned in the film attached and you can see me the owner of the charity and rescuer) in the footage. We are trying to arrange a foster placement for them which will potentially be in the Devon area though we will look to have them snapped up for adoption first hopefully.
Brother Nemo is the one with the white circle on the end of his nose and sister ‘Bon Bon’ has a triangle of white on hers the wee lass.
He’s the more assertive of the two and Bon’ is the more shy though still a joyful soul. The dynamic and differences is lovely to behold and makes them who they are and unique. They can absolutely be homed individually. Breeders can’t home all the litter under one roof either. These gorgeous dogs aren’t dependant on each other. Though what if you’re someone who is looking for two dogs and / or always had more than one canine companion in your lives? In that case they are a ready made twosome and the combination and unity couldn’t be more ideal. They get on well and their similar looks and markings make them a striking pair.
Look at their environment, their initial fear when they first went in to the enclosure & then their yearning expressions and searching eyes at the fence line. Any scrap of attention is their hope and they put everything into that morsels of human contact. It’s poignant & pitiful to see.
If there was William Morris’ wall paper in the background instead would we then choose them?
