Description

This is a very hard decision to make but it’s what’s best for him, sadly we need to rehome my mother in laws cat Rio. He’s a lovely boy, very independent, can be playful with the right person. He’s good with female cats and has been around dogs (he chooses to ignore them). He very much likes his own space and finds very weird hiding spots where he can watch everything from a distance. Hes such a lovely boy so this is really hard on my mother in law. He is purebred but we don’t have the paperwork. He was born roughly mid 2020 (the birthday is estimated). He’s flea and wormed up to date and it will be the new owners responsibility to change the microchip details. We would love to stay in touch with new owners if possible as we’d love to see updates on him every few months if possible. He’s a very large boy and he is very good at self grooming. He has had a few baths but he really doesn’t like them and can get aggressive with them. He’s a fully indoor cat and he’s gotten up to some mischief before, he loves sitting by windows and watching birds outside however it’s best to keep windows closed as he has had accidents before. He gets territorial with males as he is not neutered, he can get along with females but it takes him some time to adjust just like every other cat. He’s been around dogs but chooses not to interact with them. He’s not good with small animals He needs the right person to give him the time of day and build a bond with him, he’s very much one persons cat then he’ll stick his nose up at everyone else. He’s insanely loyal and shows loads of affection to one person despite living with multiple people. He can seem stubborn but he does love playing, treats and absolutely loves his catnip. Hes been outside on a harness but he is very afraid of the outdoors and is not comfortable being outside. More than happy to have a chat about him and will answer every question, I am selling on behalf of my mother in law as this is more than difficult for her. Price is estimate as we want him to go to a loving and forever home.
