Description

Chesapeake Bay Retriever × Shar Pei | Male | Born 10th April 2026 Meet Obi! A gorgeous chocolate-coloured boy with beautiful eyes, an incredibly sweet temperament and a wonderfully laid-back personality. Obi has been with us since he was just five weeks old, after we stepped in to help him following a very difficult start in life. We never intended to keep him permanently, but wanted to give him the best possible start before finding his forever family. Now, almost seven months old, Obi is a happy, healthy, confident young dog with so much of the hard work already done! 🐾 Why Obi is such a wonderful boy: * Fully toilet trained and crate trained. * Fantastic when left home alone and rarely destructive. * Brilliant with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. * Excellent with other dogs, from tiny breeds to giant companions. * Positive experiences with cats and kittens. * Brilliant in the car and loves a good nap! * Comfortable around fireworks and everyday household noises. * Walks well on the lead, although his manners could still use a little polishing. * Happy to settle on the floor beside you without needing to climb all over the furniture. * Affectionate, sociable, adaptable and generally a very easy-going boy. Obi currently lives in a busy family home with five other dogs, a cat and children as young as six, so he’s incredibly well socialised. 🩺 Health & Care Obi is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and currently entire. Following his difficult beginnings, Obi received extensive veterinary care and testing. He made a wonderful recovery and was given the all-clear by his vets several months ago. He’s now thriving, and we’re more than happy to provide his veterinary records. 🏡 His Forever Home Obi would make a wonderful addition to a loving home that can continue his training and provide the companionship, exercise and enrichment a growing young dog needs. He’s not being rehomed because of any behavioural issues. We simply stepped in when he needed us, and now that he’s doing so wonderfully, it’s time for him to find a family of his very own. If you’re looking for a young dog without all the chaos of those early puppy stages, Obi really is something special! ❤️ We’re in no rush and will only consider the right home. Genuine enquiries are very welcome!
