Description
Albino bodied Giant African land snails for sale already a good size and growing well. Cash and collection only please £5 each
Care Requirements:
Temperature:
Keep between 21- 27 degrees.
A heat mat placed on one side of the tank (never under) will help create a warm side and a cooler side for the snail to choose its preferred position at any time.
Humidity:
Maintain 70-85% humidity. Light daily misting is recommended, but avoid waterlogging the substrate.
Diet:
Feed a varied diet of fresh vegetables and occasionally some fruit such as: courgette, sweet potato, carrot, cucumber, lettuce, apple, tomato ect.
Calcium (essential):
Always provide a constant calcium source for proper shell growth, such as: cuttlefish bone, ground eggshells or calcium powder.
Housing:
Keep in a secure, well-ventilated enclosure ideally plastic or glass with moist substrate (e.g. coco coir). Clean regularly.
Giant afican land snails can live potentially up to 10 years and well beyond with the right care so please remember these are loving long term pets.
