7/8’s Bedlington x Whippet Pups, 12 weeks old, microchipped, fully vaccinated (1st and 2nd inoculations complete) and will leave with 3 months supply of vet sourced and approved flea and worm treatment.
Fully vet checked, with no issues whatsoever. These are good strong pups with no expense spared in their rearing.
They are fully independent, and using the dog flap most of the time (occasional mishaps)
Fed on raw chicken thighs, Skinners Field & Trail (Lamb and Rice) Puppy and Junior kibble, lambs milk daily with eggs added twice a week. They also have mince and veg stew ( cabbage, swede, carrots, potatoes, 20% fat supermarket mince and chopped chicken thighs ) with added rice or pasta on occasion. Salmon oil is added on top of the mince and veg stew.
These pups will be 100% with fireworks, they’re already associating loud bangs (two metal dishes banged together) and a recall whistle with feeding time - this noise has been ongoing since they were in the nest well before their eyes opened, they inadvertently pick up on the other dogs excitement when they hear the dishes being banged.
They are all Bedlington coated (hyperallogenic and none shedding) and the colour has started to change to blue in the last week or so. (Bedlington pups start off as black and change to their adult colour as they grow)
They’ve grown up with cats but still occasionally want to chase them, these pups will be ideal for either work, pet, or both (as my dogs are)
Mother, grandmother, and great grandmother can be seen, this litter has been bred to carry on this line, the mother to these pups will be spayed once these pups have gone.
These pups won’t find the transition from leaving the bitch and siblings anywhere near as traumatic as leaving the litter at eight weeks old. When they’re sleeping they’re mostly in their own spaces, they no longer feel the need to be altogether in a nest type situation, they’re very confident outward going pups that are ready for their new (permanent) addresses.
Gutchcommon, Hobnail, Granitor, Terra Blue breeding on the Bedlington side, great grandmother’s line is from Coursing Whippet breeding.
Unusually for Bedlington’s this breeding shows remarkable scenting abilities, owners from previous litters have remarked that they could 100% guarantee when their dogs marked it was never false marking.
I’m not the best photographer, and these photos do not do these pups justice, so anyone having a face to face viewing will be pleasantly surprised.
These pups can be taken out for walks and play immediately, no waiting for inoculations to take effect and leaving it a week or so before taking them out and watching them come to terms with, and staring to enjoy the big wide world.
Ready now, viewing can be arranged at anytime (recently retired so able to work around whatever suits you)
