Tessa is an 8 (9)-month-old lower-medium girl (below the knee) — still very young, still learning, and still discovering what it means to feel safe. She isn’t loud or demanding. She doesn’t push herself forward. Instead, she watches, thinks, and then quietly chooses to trust. And when she does… she gives her whole heart.

💔 Rescue Story
When Tessa was just a tiny puppy, someone drove her out and left her near a lake in a small village in Western Ukraine. No shelter. No safety. No explanation. Just a small life abandoned in a big, unfamiliar world.
She survived — not because she was strong, but because she was lucky. And because someone noticed her.
Since then, she’s been learning what kindness looks like. At her own pace.
🐾 About Tessa
Tessa is naturally gentle and thoughtful. When she meets new people, she may be a little shy at first — not fearful, just careful. She watches with interest, tail softly wagging, sometimes giving a tentative lick to a hand as if asking, “Is it safe?”
Give her a little time, and she blossoms. Once she feels secure, she follows her person like a quiet shadow — never intrusive, never demanding, just happy to be nearby.
She is affectionate in a calm, understated way. She doesn’t jump all over you or demand attention, but she waits patiently, soaking up closeness when it’s offered.
She is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play. With larger, pushier dogs who don’t respect boundaries, she may feel unsure — but with kind, balanced dogs she truly thrives. She learns by watching, copying, and gaining confidence from them.
After her spay, Tessa spent a week living in a home and showed excellent manners. She walked beautifully on lead, coped well with routine, and if she ever had to wait too long, she used a puppy pad reliably. She can be left alone at home without distress and does not destroy or cause problems.
She is active and playful when with dogs, but calm and settled with people. A lovely balance.
🏡 Ideal Family
Tessa would be happiest in a home that understands sensitive young dogs — people who won’t rush her, but will gently guide her. A family with another friendly dog would be essential , as she gains confidence by following and learning from canine friends.
She would suit a calm household, with patience, routine, and long walks. She doesn’t need chaos or constant stimulation — she needs reassurance, kindness, and time.
💞 Tessa survived abandonment, learned trust step by step, and is now ready for a family who will let her grow into herself — without pressure, without expectations, just love.
If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will quietly choose you every day, Tessa may be the one waiting for you.
