I’m putting some feelers out regarding my Border Collie who turns 2 at the end of this month. He’s a really lovely, happy dog with loads of personality and is brilliant off-lead with excellent recall — I rarely need to use a lead with him. He’s incredibly loyal and thrives when he’s getting plenty of stimulation and structure. Being honest, he can be reactive in certain situations (can bite but rarely, easily avoidable) and isn’t good with other dogs, so he’d be best suited to an experienced owner and a home where he can get the mental and physical stimulation he needs. Since moving out on my own I’ve realised I can’t give him the time and engagement he deserves, which isn’t fair on him. I’m not in a rush and he will only go to the right home, but if someone experienced with the breed feels they could give him a great life then feel free to message me.
