Both girls are now safely with wonderful fosters, and a short assessment has shown us they do NOT need to be adopted together.
In fact, their temperaments are very different, and it became clear that calm little Remy was sometimes a little overwhelmed by her daughter's much more enthusiastic personality. Separate homes will allow BOTH girls to flourish. ❤️
🐾 Meet Remy
Remy is 6 years old, a surprisingly small Show Cocker Spaniel girl at just around 9.5 kg. She has the most lovely, well-balanced nature — calm and gentle at home, fantastic with people, children and dogs, but still very much a Spaniel who absolutely loves getting out for proper walks and exploring. 🌳🐾

🐾 More About Remy
Remy is one of those lovely dogs who seems to have a beautiful balance between enjoying life outdoors and knowing how to relax at home.
She is wonderful with people and very affectionate, loves belly rubs and snuggles and has previously lived with young children. She is also good with dogs but doesn't depend on canine companionship, so another dog is optional rather than essential.
🏡 Ideal Home
Remy would suit home-based people who want a gentle companion but also genuinely enjoy walking.
She would love a secure private garden and 2–3 walks a day, with at least one good long walk of an hour or more. A home close to quiet fields, woodland or countryside would be wonderful — somewhere she can put that Spaniel nose to good use. 🌳🐾
💞 Remy really is a little gem: small, gentle, beautifully balanced and affectionate. She is ready for a home where she can finally enjoy life at HER own lovely pace. ❤️
🩺 Health Information
Remy is microchipped with no known medical conditions. She is not yet spayed and her vaccinations need updating. The rescue will arrange the necessary veterinary care, including spaying shortly.
