Description

We have a gorgeous litter of F1 Miniature Sproodle puppies, bred from our KC registered English Springer Spaniel, Bessie, and our KC registered red Miniature Poodle, Freddie. They are a wonderfully varied litter, with beautiful multicoloured coats and individual markings, and they have grown into strong, healthy, happy and very sociable little puppies. Both parents are extensively health and laboratory tested, and the puppies have been raised with a great deal of care, handling and attention from the very beginning. Bessie, their mum, is a lovely English Springer Spaniel, and Freddie, their dad, is a cheerful, affectionate Miniature Poodle. Both breeds are known for being bright, people-focused and highly trainable, and this combination can make a particularly rewarding family companion. Each puppy has received a full veterinary health examination and leaves with an individual signed veterinary health report. The examination includes the heart, eyes, ears, mouth and bite, skin and coat, joints and limbs, hernias, external parasites and, for the boys, appropriate testicular descent. Importantly, the veterinary examination records no heart murmur detected. Puppies also leave us with their first vaccination, microchip, full worming programme, NexGard Spectra at approximately eight weeks, parent health information and our Wootton Fields Puppy Care Guide. They have been handled regularly, groomed daily, introduced to bathing and exposed to normal household activity and family life. We want them to leave us as confident, affectionate and adaptable as possible, so a lot of care has gone into helping them experience the sort of everyday sights, sounds and handling they will meet in their new homes. We are particularly keen to find homes that understand and appreciate the nature of this cross. Because Mum is a Springer Spaniel, these puppies are likely to grow into active, clever dogs who will enjoy both physical exercise and mental stimulation. They should suit homes where they can enjoy walks, games, training, enrichment and plenty of companionship. They are not simply pretty puppies — they are intelligent little dogs who will thrive when they are involved in family life and given something to think about. The Sproodle can be such a lovely cross, combining the cleverness and trainability of both breeds with the Poodle’s cheerful, sociable nature and the Springer’s enthusiasm and affection. Above all, we are looking for kind, committed homes where these puppies will be loved, included and given the time and stimulation they need to become happy, content adult dogs. Wootton Fields is very much a family affair. Sophie, David and I are all involved in caring for, handling and socialising the puppies, so they grow up with plenty of human contact and attention. I’m a retired nurse, and after a lifetime spent caring for people, I can honestly say raising happy, healthy puppies and finding them wonderful homes feels like the best job in the world.
