Description

I have a few older female Syrian hamsters looking for loving retirement homes where they can be truly spoilt, enjoy plenty of one to one attention, and spend their golden years/months being pampered. Doreen is a beautiful 12 month old long haired sable banded female. She is a big girl with a wonderfully laid back temperament and spends much of her time happily burrowing. Doreen currently lives in a Bucatstate enclosure and is very cage content, definitely not your typical demanding female Syrian! She's perfectly happy doing her own thing and, although she handles well, she isn't a hamster that constantly seeks attention. She has the sweetest, slightly shy personality and would thrive in a calm home. Due to her size, she would be best suited to a larger wheel of around 32cm. Doreen has never had a litter. Soreen is a 12 month old short haired sable female who is a little livelier than Doreen. She always makes an effort to come and greet you when she hears you, especially if treats are involved! She is still very cage content and loves burrowing, rearranging(šŸ«£) and exploring her enclosure. Soreen is used to regular handling and is lovely to interact with. She has had one litter. Myra is a 9 month old long haired cream female and is the most energetic of the three, while still being one of the most laid back hamsters you could meet. As soon as she hears you, she's at the front waiting for treats or trying to climb out to come and say hello. She loves running on her wheel, foraging for food, and being involved in whatever you're doing. Myra has had one litter. These girls deserve wonderful retirement homes where they can enjoy lots of love, enrichment, and individual attention. šŸ¹ā¤ļø Minimum care standards as follows: A minimum enclosure size of 100cm x 50cm (larger will be given priority) Deep bedding (7+ inches) using suitable materials (e.g. aspen, paper, teabag bedding, Megazorb, Aubiose, or ideally a mix for optimal burrowing) A large sand bath Plenty of enrichment, including multiple hides, tunnels, and chews A species-appropriate diet (recommended: Bunny Nature Dream or Chubby Cheeks hamster mix, available in the UK) A variety of sprays for enrichment and coverage A large wheel (minimum 28cm diameter) larger females most suited to 32cm Proof of suitable set up will be required
