Blue Fawn Olde English Bulldog – 1 Year Old – KC Registered
£250 (open to sensible discussion for the right home)
It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking to find a forever home for my beautiful blue fawn Olde English Bulldog. Due to our landlord selling our property, my family and I are facing a period of uncertainty and possible temporary accommodation. After a lot of thought, I have decided that finding him a stable, loving home is in his best interests.
He is 1 year old, KC registered, not neutered, and up to date with flea and worming treatments. He is fully toilet trained, crate trained, and has a fantastic temperament with people.
He lives with my two sons aged 7 and 12 and is brilliant with them. He is affectionate, loving, and enjoys being around his family. He has never been around younger children, so I cannot comment on how he would be with toddlers or babies.
He currently lives with other dogs and gets on very well with my two female dogs (his mum and grandmother). However, he has recently started not getting along with my male Dachshund, so I feel he would be best suited as an only dog or with a compatible female dog.
At around 6 months old, he suffered a knee injury which required surgery and 6 weeks of crate rest. Because of this, he missed some socialisation with unfamiliar dogs, so I do not generally let him mix with dogs he doesn’t know. He has recovered well but does not need excessive exercise and is currently walked every other day for around 30 minutes.
He is not food aggressive and is fed using a slow feeder as he tends to eat quickly.
This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family, and finding the right home is far more important than anything else. I will only consider homes where he will be treated as part of the family and given the love and attention he deserves.
