Description
I’m looking for a very special, committed home for my 9-month-old Australian Shepherd, Apollo. This is not an easy decision, and he will only go to the right home.
He is a typical Aussie: highly intelligent, high-drive, and very active. He is not a low-maintenance dog and won’t suit a first-time or casual pet home.
He needs:
• Structure and routine
• Consistent, clear training
• Mental and physical stimulation
• Engagement based fun
He is crate trained and crated when unsupervised, as he is still learning to switch off. When out, I work on calm behaviours (e.g. place training). Without structure, he will find his own ways to stay busy, so routine and guidance are essential.
Looking for:
• Experience with working breeds (e.g. Aussies, Collies, german shepherds)
• Understanding of structure, consistency, and training
• Commitment to continuing his development
• An active, suitable home
Arrangement:
This is a co-ownership setup — I remain his registered owner, but he lives full-time with you.
Important to me:
• Staying in touch with updates
• Occasional visits
• Being available for support/advice
• If circumstances change, he always has a home back with me
(This is for his security — I will never remove him from a good home.)
A £1,500 fee is required to ensure commitment.
Please note:
• I will be very selective
• Home checks and meet-ups required
• His welfare comes first
Apollo is a loving, loyal, and incredibly rewarding dog in the right hands, but needs someone who truly understands high-drive dogs.
