Description

Quick Facts - Breed: Domestic short hair / Mixed - Male cats - Cheeko: around 10 months (black and white) - Waffles: around 6 months (orange a white tabby) - Bonded pair - Health note: Cheeko is suspected to have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (read more below) Cheeko and Waffles are a loving, playful pair of young cats who are happiest curled up beside their people. Both are incredibly affectionate lap cats who enjoy cuddles, sleeping next to you and being part of everyday life. They are gentle, tolerant, and have shown themselves to be great with children, making them a warm and easy addition to a family home. Cheeko is a very special boy with suspected Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a non-progressive neurological condition that affects his coordination. This gives him a characteristic “wobbly” walk, but it does not cause him any pain and does not hold him back. He runs, plays, and interacts just like any other kitten, having adapted brilliantly to his environment and does not mind a little wobble and a fall from time to time. He is especially affectionate and loves to be close to his people. (check out videos of Cheeko’s wobble on our Instagram @glasgowpetcollective) Waffles, the younger of the two, is a sweet and cuddly ginger boy who mirrors Cheeko’s affectionate nature. He is equally happy to settle in for a cuddle or join in play. The two make a lovely, balanced pair. Together, they offer both companionship and comfort, often seeking out laps or cosy spots to nap side by side. Ideal Home - Have been indoor only so far; potential for indoor outdoor with a very safe garden and appropriate supervision of Cheeko - Families with children welcome - Have not met other cats, compatibility unknown - Have not met dogs, compatibility unknown - Understanding of Cheeko’s CH (guidance can be provided) Cheeko and Waffles would suit a home looking for affectionate, people-oriented cats. With their loving temperaments and close bond, they bring both warmth and character. Our adoption fee is sliding scale from £75 - £190 per pet depending on post code of adopter.
