Donut went into foster in Derbyshire on 26th February 2026.
Donut is a gorgeous 5-month-old pup currently in foster in Derbyshire, and he’s already proving to be an absolute star. This clever boy has been learning quickly and is eager to please – he already knows sit, lay down, and give paw, and he’s doing brilliantly with his training.
He is fully house trained and walks nicely on the lead. Traffic can still make him a little unsure, but he’s gaining confidence every day and improving with gentle encouragement.
Donut has the sweetest nature. He loves everyone he meets, especially children, and his friendly personality makes him a joy to have around. In fact on the school run he has become quite the celebrity because of his gentle nature.
He has also spent time in a room with a cat and showed no interest at all, so he may be able to live with feline friends too.
This lovely boy is affectionate, bright, and well on his way to being the perfect companion. With his gentle temperament and eagerness to learn, Donut would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.

His Story
Donut and his siblings Cupcake and Muffin were found abandoned in a field, far from any village and with no sign of their mother. They were extremely malnourished, covered in fleas, and suffering from heavy worm infestations — left to survive in heartbreaking conditions. They were rushed straight to the vet, where they received urgent treatment for parasites and began their road to recovery. Thanks to proper care, nourishment, and lots of love, they are now happy, healthy, and full of life. All that’s left for them now is to find their forever homes where they will be safe, cherished, and never abandoned again.
